Anyone remember the infamous video of the Iraqi soldiers doing jumping jacks as their american counterparts just looked on in utter disbelief in what they were seeing?
We cant imagine Syrian military doing any better. They are next door neighbors. Well a recent incident just confirmed our suspicions. In an attempt to stop Israeli planes that weren’t even in the country they managed to shoot down a russian intel. Aircraft killing all 15 on board.
Russia is aware of the incident and is still blaming Israel for the loss of their aircraft and soldiers even though Israel clearly didnt pull the trigger.
Russia claims the israeli fighters were using the russian aircraft as a decoy and that is why it was shot down.
According to Funker530 “Israel holds the Assad regime, whose military shot down the Russian plane, fully responsible for this incident,” the Israeli Defense Force stated. They went on to say that the missiles were fired indiscriminately and that Israeli aircraft were already back in Israel at the time of the incident.
According to a few sources The leaders of Russia and Israel have made efforts to defuse tension following the downing of a Russian military plane over syria.
