Is the Navy Taking Out Their Frustration On Seal Team 7?

We’re just saying that is definitely how this would appear. We’re wondering if brass is gonna get caught trying to prove shit that didn’t happen again and honestly who is going to believe them now at this point. Especially after the stunt they pulled with Chief Gallagher.

This of course comes after a single independence day celebration in which alcohol was consumed. This is also prohibited under gen order no.1

According to FoxNews a Navy SEAL platoon from San Diego, Calif., is being ordered back to the U.S. from Iraq because of a “deterioration of good order and discipline,” the U.S. Special Operations Command said in a statement Wednesday.

“The Commander lost confidence in the team’s ability to accomplish the mission,” the statement said.

The statement did not describe the exact nature of the misconduct, but the Washington Post said two defense officials told the newspaper that the SEALs involved in the incident had violated a general order against use of alcohol.

The platoon is part of SEAL Team 7, the group whose members included Chief Eddie Gallagher, who was acquitted of war crimes charges earlier this month, the San Diego Union-Tribune reported.

But according to TaskAndPurpose there may be more to the story as a senior Navy official came forward to the New York Times’ David Philipps and claimed that a senior enlisted member had allegedly raped a female service member assigned to the SEAL platoon.

In addition, “when commanders began investigating the allegations, the entire platoon invoked their right to remain silent” under the Fifth Amendment.

This entire situation is fucked up. But with the Navy’s past incidents theres no way to tell whose telling the truth at this point.

What do you think? Is the Navy overreacting or did Seal Team 7 actually do some shit?
