Soon after submitting commercial spots to local radio stations for black friday Tactical Shit received a very unexpected response from the conservative KFTK 97.1 stating their concerns that the term “shooters” which is very synonymous with the LEO, Military, Veteran, and competitive shooting community may cause fall out with Liberals.
The email from the radio stations program director said;
“I would recommend that they recut #3 to use a different term other than “where do shooters shop”. Whenever we cover a mass shooting we always say “the shooter”. We will get pushback on that even on this station.
Content of #3 is fine, just change the very beginning where is says shooters.

We love this radio station however it is a shame that the liberals have got people so gun shy that they start banning regular every day terminology because it may offend someone or cause fear. It is obvious in the context it was used that we are not talking masshooters aka murderers we are referring to people who enjoy shooting as part of their lifestyle.
Feel free to contact the station and thank them for allowing tactical shit to continue advertising on their airwaves. If you choose to express your disappointment in their decision to ban the word “shooters” please be nice.
