Legalize Suppressors to Reduce Temporary PTSD

With Kuntzman’s article about how firing the big scary ar15 gave him TPTSD I took it upon myself to try to find a sure fire cure to this issue.  Being of a non combat effective disposition I searched far and wide to find the cure to Kuntzy’s ailment.  After hours of grueling trials of different types of “big and scary” “cannon like” firearms I have come to a conclusion.

Shown here is a clip of me during my trials of Temporary PTSD Reducing Research or TPTSDRR for short.  I had to endure hours of horrific and scary testing of different cannons like the m60, the M stands for Murder by the way, to the terrible Ruger 10/22 which has the ability to kill 10 people in 22 seconds.  After much therapy and hand holding I was handed the famed AR15.  With flashbacks to the shocking videos of Kuntz’s experience I was reluctant to even handle the bazooka like assault weapon.  That is until I was told that the long cylindrical black shaft on the end had been put on to make it less cannon like.

Seen here is an AARP member defending his lawn from kids, and Jehovah Witness, using the M60.

Intrigued by this I inquired more into this long black shaft.  I was told it was called a suppressor, and it was used to make the gun less scary.  I was also told that this “gun muffler” was very expensive to affix to the gun, and required a lot of paperwork, background checks, and money to obtain.  This was because the Government was trying to keep the guns loud so that people with soft hands and tight pants

would be afraid to buy them.  Feeling my heart flutter as I was handed the muffled bazooka like rifle I perspired with fear prepared for the worst.

With the first tug of the bang switch I felt the hard thrust of freedom deep into my shoulder.  With a silent muffled crack the gun erupted with a opus sound, hot pressured gas and the slight smell of bacon.  The rush of unfiltered testosterone and adrenaline pumped into my body.  I anticipated my next eruption with baited breath.

After my ordeal I was happy to report that gone were my feelings of anxiety, and irritation that Kuntzman had reported. With the addition of the gun muffler I found the the occurrence of TPTSD had been reduced by 22%.  However I must also say that side effects of firing such an awesome weapon did give me the urge to go out, buy whisky, smoke cigars in a study filled with the rich smell of leather and the stuffed heads of animals, and to get a tattoo of Abe Lincoln holding up the Bill of Rights in one hand
and a M4 in the other while ridding a grizzly bear.

I firmly believe that a legalization of such suppressors would be beneficial to the mass public who find AR15s and assault weapons like them to scary.

I would like to thank all the people that made this article possible and for all the hand holding it took to get me through my hard times.  In this accompanying article on ASA, or the American Suppressor Association’s site, you can find all the states and information about how to Legally use and hunt with a suppressor.  However no mention has been made since October of last year for the bill to push the NFA to remove the costly tax stamp needed to purchase one.  Check out this article on the Daily Signal where they talk about the bill, and explain what it means.

As always, stay vigilant.
