This man wasted no time when he found out his son was bullying another kid. Good on him!
A father who is outspoken against bullying, was upset when his son was kicked off the school bus for bullying another child.
The father said that his son was misbehaving in school as well, so when he was banned from using the bus for 3 days as a punishment for being a bully, his father decided to take action and give his son tough love.
The father, Bryan Thornhill of Virginia, recorded the punishment on Facebook Live video. He made his son, 10-year-old Hayden Thornhill, run to school, which is over a mile away from his home.
Thornhill was driving behind his son as he was running in the rain with his backpack on.
The father added that his son’s behavior has greatly improved in school since he made him run to school.
Thornhill said that he loves his children but he cannot lock them away like he does with his guns.
The father then addressed those people who may feel that his method of parenting is “child abuse.” He said: “I let you know when your child steals a .45 out of my safe.”
