Unlike Ruger who we covered in an earlier article Noveske was anything but quiet when they dropped their latest hot new piece! Like most of Noveske’s product line this one is sure to make some noise!
Grants Pass, Oregon’s Noveske Rifleworks shrugged off being PC and debuted its line of Ghetto Blasters based on the Gen 4 series platform this week.
Teaming up with Kevin Brittingham and his team at Q to incorporate that company’s collapsible stock and bolt carrier group, Noveske’s Ghetto Blaster name is a homage to the old school boom boxes of the 1980s and 90s, which the very Honey Badger-esque series approximates in size.
Available in three configurations — a 16-inch barreled 5.56mm and two 7.94-inch .300 BLK and 5.56mm offerings– each come standard with an adjustable gas block, Geissele SD-E trigger, and Magpul grip. It’s up to the buyer to select either the Keymod or M-LOK free floating handguard.
MSRP is $2,000-ish with an availability for 1Q 2018. No word on if it comes with Noveske flannel or beard oil, but good deal on the Waylon Jennings/jj fad mashup in the video.

Noveske Rifleworks is proud to announce the Ghetto Blaster Rifle — the introductory rifle configuration on our new Gen 4 platform. This lightweight rifle (5.25lbs in the short configuration) features a customized version of our new Gen 4 receiver set, collapsible stock and Noveske Rail system (MLOK or Keymod option). Adapted to accept a collapsible stock, the receiver set also includes ambidextrous controls, flared mag well, and new geometry relative to our Gen 3 set. Additionally, the rifle features a Magpul grip, adjustable gas block, and Geissele SD-E trigger. We teamed up with Kevin Brittingham and his team at Q to incorporate the collapsible stock and BCG in this rifle.

Pre-sale starts today with the first 100 rifles sold receiving a 10% discount. Rifles on pre-order will begin shipping in December.
