Can’t Wait for Yeet Cannon? Hi Point Drops Yeet Cannon Gen 1

If you simply cannot wait for your own YC9 Hi Point has released the Yeet Cannon Gen 1 which is available now on their website.

This comes shortly after the announcement that their newest pistol isnt expected to hit the streets until late 2019. The pistol which now features a more angular design with front and rear slide serrations, a 1911 style back-strap safety a ambi mag release, threaded barrel an extended rear sight base which can be removed and replaced with a picatinny rail for an RMR sight. The magazine has changed has well it goes from a double stack to single and now holds 10 rnds. This is a pretty big step for Hi-point considering the design hasn’t changed in 20 years.

The Yeet Cannon came to be after a debacle in which their customer based claimed the vote was rigged after Yeet Cannon was removed from the list of options. However, after some nudging from Heckler and Koch and their fans Hi-point revealed their intentions and Yeet Cannon was in-fact still on the ballot! But with the new model not expected to come out until 2019 Hi Point answered the demand of customers who simply cannot wait that long to get their very own Yeet Cannon.

The Yeet Cannon G1 is based of their gen 1 C9 hand gun with YEET CANNON G1 laser engraved about the roll mark.  The YC G1 features High impact polymer frame  with a 3.5″ barrel and a 3 dot fully adjustable rear sight.
