AMAZING SPEECH of Only Living OIF Medal of Honor Recipient*VIDEO*

On June 25th 2019 President Donald Trump presented the Medal Of Honor to Staff Sergeant David Bellavia for his actions during combat operations in the Second Battle of Fallujah in 2004.

Bellavia went head to head with enemy insurgents in a close quarters battle when his squad was pinned down. He grabbed an m249 saw and begain clearing the building that was filled with enemy combatants. One of which he killed to keep him from giving away his position. The wounded Jihadist bit Sergeant Bellavia on the arm and smacked him in the face with the butt of his AK-47. In the wild scuffle that followed, Sergeant Bellavia took out his knife and slit the Jihadist’s throat.

His actions went well above and beyond the call of duty and is accredited for saving the lives of those in his squad!

#UnitedStates President Donald #Trump awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor to former #Army Staff Sgt. David G. Bellavia for his actions in the Second Battle of #Fallujah during the #Iraq War in 2004. During Operation Phantom Fury, Bellavia and his squad were pinned by heavy fire while trying to clear houses in the city. With some of his men wounded, Bellavia provided suppressive fire with a M249 SAW so that his fellow soldiers could escape. A Bradley Fighting Vehicle arrived to help return fire but was unable to do so, so Bellavia re-entered the building and killed five insurgents, one of which with a knife.
