On Wednesday morning, a mere two weeks after the parkland shooting, Dicks has taken to the media to show that they too can cry for attention though they are not cutting a perfectly good rifle in half! Its seems after every major shooting Dicks Sporting Goods tries to tap into everyone’s feelings by claiming they are no longer going to sell AR15s, no longer sell high capacity magazines, and restrict to ages 21 and older! Past actions though show this is merely an excuse to get PR and they will most likely quietly start selling again once interests is lost.

Dick’s Sporting Goods, one of the largest sporting goods retailers in the world, says it has removed all guns from its store nearest to Newtown, Connecticut, and is suspending the sale of certain kinds of semi-automatic rifles from its chains nationwide.
Dicks did remove AR15s from the stores nationwide even academy pulled modern sporting rifles from their shelves four years later in 2016.
However the hypocrisy can be found only a few short months later when dicks started selling AR15s again to the public through a spin off store called Field and Stream as reported by the huffington post. Shortly afterward the Rifles started showing up back in their main outlet nation wide.
Field & Stream, a new outdoors store opened by Dick’s Sporting Goods in western Pennsylvania, is selling AR-15 semi-automatic rifles, apparently ending the company’s suspension of assault-style weapons sales after December’s massacre at a Newtown, Conn., elementary school.
So not only does this endorse the infringement of every American’s 2nd amendment rights. This looks more like a PR move to tug on peoples heart strings and rake in the profits more than it is really about the company caring about anything. For that very reason liberals are going to eat it up without realizing they just had the wool pulled over their eyes. But you know keep telling yourself that a huge corporation is taking a stand and its not about profits because at the end of the day anyone with common sense could see through this bullshit.
