The “Fallout” over CNN’s Russian ‘Hacking’ Report

I am a hard core gamer! Have been for years. So when I saw the ultimate stupidity of CNN’s Russian Hacking report, I about spit my coffee out!

What Morons! CNN has been exceptionally untrustworthy and reckless in it’s reporting over the past few years. Not to mention that Don Lemon is the biggest tool bag puppet I have ever seen on the MSM. This one has to be my favorite blunder by the “Clinton News Network” though.

One of my all time favorite game series is the dystopian/post-apocalyptic world of ‘Fallout’, created by Bethesda Game studios. Of course it is, I am a published Dystopian Fiction Author myself. So I have been thoroughly enjoying all the trolling and memes of CNN’s latest blunder. Here is a few of them:

For those of you that are unfamiliar with the video game, this picture features a part of the game where you have to pick a lock. Usually on a safe, or cabinet or door in the game to gain access.

The ‘Brotherhood of Steel’ soldiers in the above picture are wearing ‘Power Armor’, which is the best armor you can get in the video game. A faction in the game of pseudo-military, pro-technology preserving/hoarding soldiers that are hell bent on ridding the apocalyptic wasteland of mutants, synthetic robots and ‘ghouls’ (radioactive rotting former humans. Basically zombies)

However, the network’s most recent gaff includes the use of a screenshot that features codes and numbers on a Fallout 4 computer. Bethesda Game Studios took the opportunity to poke fun at CNN.

As PC Gamers points out, hacking the U.S. government servers using the computers found in Fallout 4 would have been pretty difficult. Not only is it severely under powered due to technological constraints, it is also fictional. Oh, and there’s the part about the internet not actually being accessible to the greater public since such a service didn’t exist in the universe that Bethesda created.

In any case, it would seem that CNN was not aware of any of these things since it still chose to feature images of the unit on a piece about the recent Russian hacking reports, albeit on B-roll. This isn’t exactly a big deal in terms of implications regarding international relations either. It’s basically just a hilarious turn of events brought on by potentially inexperienced staff members or being pressed for time….” (Read More)
So, stay classy CNN! We can’t WAIT, to see what bull shit you come up with next!
