IED’s in TRAIL CAMS? Are you serious? Yes. We’re serious. This crap is happening.
According to Outdoorhub.com The ATF and Kentucky State Police issued a warning that this is occurring. They report that ” The public safety advisory, issued Monday, warns that some of the trail cameras were found abandoned on paths in rural areas near the Dave Smith Drainage Area, on the Little Black Mountain Spur in Harlan County.”
With an explosion having already occurred in May of 2016, authorities have been investigating rigorously. Some trail cam IEDs were rigged to explode when provided with a power supply (batteries) others were more nefariously rigged.
It is insane to think that someone would do this sort of thing. On our own soil. Is it anti-hunting advocates, some whack job psycho? We may never know.
