Rapist’s request for shorter sentence backfires

Whats that old Chinese Proverb? “Beware what you wish for”?

Well, here is a prime example of that old adage. This piece of human filth has been serving a 65 year sentence for the savage rape and beating of a girl outside a public library in Florida that he committed several years earlier as a juvenile.

Among many other stupid decisions the SCOTUS has come up with in past years, this scum bag was allowed a re-sentencing hearing because of the SCOTUS ruling that determined lengthy prison sentences were unconstitutional for juveniles.

I’m sorry that I’m not sorry. If a 16 year old kid commits murder, or rape; they should be treated accordingly. This isn’t a candy bar some stupid kid stole from the grocery store. This is a drastic event that the offenders poor decisions, have irreparably altered the course of another humans life.

There should not be any leniency. So, the scum bag in question gets his hearing. And as amazing as karma can be, instead of 65 years, dirt bag gets Life in Prison.

BOOM!!!! KARMIC MIC DROP!!!!

Fox News Reports:

A man in Florida who raped, beat and left a teen girl for dead outside a public library eight years ago asked for a shorter sentence — but instead, the judge on Thursday sent him behind bars for the rest of his life.

Kendrick Morris originally was sentenced to 65 years in prison for the crime, committed when he was a teenager.

In 2008, Kendrick Morris — then 16 years old — was convicted for a brutal rape at the Bloomingdale Regional Public Library in Valrico that left a young woman blind and paralyzed for life.

He was granted a re-sentencing hearing after a Supreme Court decision that determined lengthy sentences for juvenile offenders are unconstitutional, and that they should have the opportunity for parole.

However, a re-sentencing hearing doesn’t guarantee a lesser sentence. In Morris’ case, it meant more time in prison. Now, instead of 65 years, he is sentenced to life.
