The New York Police Department says it has found “no criminality” after three officers became sick at a Shake Shack in downtown Manhattan.
That finding was announced via a tweet early Tuesday by Chief of Detectives Rodney Harrison.
CBS2 reports that according to their sources, it’s believed that the incident was accidental – and that it may have been from cleaning solution that wasn’t properly removed from the shake machines
MANHATTAN, NY- On Monday night, three NYPD officers were rushed to the hospital after reportedly being sickened at a Shake Shack location in Manhattan.
All three reportedly got milkshakes.
After drinking them, they started noticing a bad taste, and reportedly started suffering from stomach pain.
What was believed to be either bleach or another corrosive cleaning agent was reportedly found inside the milkshakes.
