Johnny Ringo, Wyatt Earp and Doc Holiday are literally rolling over in their graves after yesterdays Boog gone bust. A bunch of Boog bois got dressed up in their floral shirts, carriers and kit with slung rifles to “peacefully protest” the county stay at home orders on the property of a bar that opened early. Moments later the local law consisting of some of the most grossly overweight l/sheriff’s deputies I have ever seen showed up with an Mrap and rifles at the ready. The boog bois immediately laid down their arms and were subsequently arrested for Felony Possession of Firearms “on a license establishement even though they were not IN THE BAR.
A Texas 2A group were wrongly arrested on May 4th after taking on a peaceful protest at Big Daddy Zane’s bar in Odessa. During the protest they were asked to stay of the premises of the bar because many members were open carrying. The protestors followed the request and remained on adjacent PRIVATE PROPERTY.
They were well within their rights to peacefully assemble and well within the rights to bear arms in accordance within the guidelines set by the property owner. One thing was made very clear Odessas Law Enforcement officials were ready to shirk their responsibilities and duties to the people they protect and to the constitution of the United States. Meal team 6 came to the scene at full force pulling up in a MRAP body armor on and rifles pointed at the protestors demanding they drop their weapons and put their hands up. The protestors listened to the commands of the police. This should have been the start of the next Alamo. The protestors had their rights violated and stripped from them as the police arrested them and took them down to the station.
