Iranian backed Militia Rocket Attack on a Military Base

A suspected Iranian-backed militia rocket attack on a military base housing Coalition forces in Taji, Iraq, has left two American and one British service member dead. The Coalition said that 12 others were wounded during the attack, which #UnitedStates Gen. Frank McKenzie, head of  UnitedStates Central Command, said was likely conducted by Kataib Hezbolla. The attack consisted of 30 Katyusha rockets fired from an improvised truck launcher, where 18 of them hit the base. Following the attack, a suspected Israeli air strikes killed 26 fighters from the Iranian backed Popular Mobilisation militias near Albu Kamal, Syria, which sits along the border with Iraq.
