Florida Man Gets DUI After Rear Ending Truck in Dairy Queen

According to NBC2

A 57-year-old Punta Gorda man was arrested for driving under the influence of Long Island Iced Tea’s in a Dairy Queen drive-thru on Friday.

Thomas Taylor is accused of bumping into a pickup truck that was waiting in front of him at a Dairy Queen in Port Charlotte, deputies with the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office said.

According to an arrest report, Taylor had his grandson in the front seat with no car seat or seat belt holding him in. Deputies that responded to the scene said Taylor was slurring his words and stumbled when he walked.
