EUROPE’S SUPERCHARGED ANTIFA COMING TO AMERICA

The masked left-wing extremists known as “antifa” are notorious in the United States. But it’s nothing compared to what already exists in Europe.

WND writes

“Welcome To Hell” read the antifa banners during the G20 riots in Hamburg over the summer. Antifa groups in Europe are better organized and funded than their American counterparts and are far more willing to resort to violence. Indeed, antifa groups proudly air footage of their violent activities.

Most recently, antifa attacked a building owned by “Identitarians” in Germany who oppose mass immigration. Dozens of bricks and inflammatory devices were used against the building, which isn’t just a space for right-wing political activity but a home for some activists. Even acid was brought in.

Some American conservative and libertarian activists who have dealt personally with antifa worry such tactics are coming to America. Lauren Southern is a well-known Internet personality and libertarian journalist who recently had her speech at the University of Minnesota disrupted by hundreds of antifa activists.

But Southern says her experience, so far, is nothing compared to what is happening in Europe.

In a new documentary from filmmaker Trevor Loudon and the Capital Research Center, “America Under Siege,” Southern says Europeans are living in terror of the far-left on the continent.

“They have places in Germany, entire cities that I’ve gone to, that are known as ‘antifa towns,’” said Southern. “There are stickers everywhere, they [the German government] can’t set up police stations there or they will be shut down and razed and attacked by this militant group. And they’ve just become a thing since Trump’s election in America. They’ve really just started to get a wave of popularity there. And I’m worried it’s going to get as bad as it is in Europe.

“I was interviewing a young man in Germany who begged to blur his face, to distort [the sound of] the interview. He wasn’t saying anything particularly offensive. Something that would be a moderate idea in America. But he was so afraid because he said the antifa in Germany would put you on their website and on their lists and might hurt his child. They might go after his job, his livelihood. They might crash his home. There are plenty of stories of the homes of ‘fascists’ being raided and their things being smashed.”

And practically everyone in the world is a “fascist” according to antifa.

The WND Special Report “Antifa: What Americans Need to Know about the Alt-Left” observes antifa activists have an extremely broad definition of what constitutes “fascism.”

It notes:

“The irony is that for all the talk of revolution and a glorious victory in the years ahead, ‘fascism’ is defined so broadly by the antifa that it can never truly be defeated. Demonizing concepts such as ‘heteronormativity’ or conventional patriotism create a system in which almost everyone in the world is guilty of the invented sins of ‘racism’ and ‘fascism.’ The list of enemies to be slaughtered and killed grows inevitably from members of actual fascist parties to supporters of the current president of the United States or people who don’t support mass Third World immigration. By definition, sntifa must have enemies which can be dehumanized as evil and dangerous, otherwise they lose their whole reason for existence.
