Four Fort Carson soldiers accused of home invasion robbery

Four Fort Carson soldiers were arrested Sunday after they allegedly broke into a Colorado Springs home and threatened to shoot members of a family of four while demanding property.

(DenverPost)- Dustin Mincy, Mykal Hall, Aaron Hall and Roman Alred have been arrested for investigation of first degree burglary, menacing and child abuse, according to a Colorado Springs police report.

The four allegedly broke into a home on the block of 1100 Verde Drive at 6:30 p.m., according to the police report.

A couple told officers from the Sand Creek Division that four men broke into their home and demanded property. The report does not indicate what kind of property was requested.

The couple had two children who were in the home at the time. One of the suspects flashed a gun and threatened to shoot family members, the police report says.

When the unidentified couple refused to give the suspects what they wanted, the suspects fled and threatened to return. The victims then called police. The suspects were acquaintances, the report says.
