5 Muzzle blast control devices to save your hearing!

Lets face it. Some ARs are very loud at the range. Indoors its gets even worse. This isnt necessarily a bad thing sometimes its fun to let it roar but sometimes for your sake or your neighbors you may want to tone it down. Many opt for suppressors. Which are a great option if you have the money. However, there are other devices which do not require the paper work or cost involved.

Muzzle blast control devices are one great option which help mitigate the noise by sending it forward and downrange. They can also help to dissipate the amount of dirt kicked up if shooting from a prone position.

Fortis Control Shield

You breach, shoot a few rounds and then can’t hear feedback from your team because you’re temporarily deaf from the concussion and blast noise from your muzzle device. The Fortis Control Shield was designed to push the noise forward for combative situations or even for simple range use, while the top ports keep the muzzle device flat on target. The patent pending quick detach system will be made available for other manufacturer’s to use in conjunction with their muzzle devices.

So whether you’re knocking down doors or shooting at the range, let’s help save your hearing.  So click on the Control and go!

**Only mounts with muzzle devices that are compatible. We are freely licensing our attaching design so other MFG’s can add it to their muzzle device designs. Currently our muzzle brake and Rainier Arms XTC 2.0 are compatible.

VG6 CAGE Device

The CAGE is the pinnacle of concussion reduction technology. Its primary essential task was to disrupt side concussion while keeping or enhancing the characteristics of the Gamma and Epsilon series of muzzle devices. It accomplishes this with ease.

The CAGE does not use a large tubular construction because gas dynamics used for muzzle brakes do not operate efficiently when transferring energy into them. Instead it features a close wrap fit. This allows the CAGE to distribute the gases in a manner conducive to both muzzle control and concussion disruption.

The sides of the CAGE utilize a series/pattern of small holes which move over the chambers of the Gamma and Epsilon devices. This allows the gasses to expend energy more uniformly and slows them down while moving through the porting thus disrupting horizontal concussion AND allowing the muzzle brake to have more time to influence the gaseous escape through all the ports. This leads to an extremely smooth recoil and zero muzzle flip by “bleeding off energy” rather than abruptly losing energy.

The CAGE device offers absolute control while sparing the concussion of a bare muzzle brake.

Primary Weapons Systems (PWS) CQB COMPENSATOR 5.56/.223

CLOSE QUARTERS Developed for extremely short rifles to mitigate muzzle blast in close quarters situations while increasing rifle control.WEIGHTRemoving material where we could without damaging functionality, the PWS CQB compensator is very lightweight.

Originally designed as part of the MK107 Rifle, the CQB556 provides as much compensation as possible while suppressing flash and sending all the blast forward of the shooter. The CQB556 features a 2-piece design with a removable end cap for ease of cleaning.
