Here we go again shortly after the target parking lot incident another one has taken place! A dispute at a Jefferson county Walmart parking lot ended when a 54 year old fires a shot in the air!
According to Fox 2 News An argument over one driver’s etiquette in a Walmart parking lot led to a physical confrontation and, ultimately, a gun being pulled and a shot fired.
According to Detective Lt. Clinton Wooldridge, a spokesman for the Arnold Police Department, the incident happened around 12:45 p.m. outside the Walmart Supercenter along Jeffco Boulevard.
Police learned a 53-year-old Arnold man was driving in the middle of a parking lane, angering a 47-year-old Pevely man who was in his own vehicle. The two men parked, got out of their vehicles, and got into a fight.
At one point, the 53-year-old pulled a handgun from his waistband. The 47-year-old ran for safety into the store and the 53-year-old fired a shot into the air.
No one was wounded by the bullet, police said.
The 53-year-old’s wife called 911 during the fight and police arrived a short time later.
The 53-year-old was taken to the hospital because he was having trouble breathing. The 47-year-old was taken into custody and later released…
If you conceal carry, open carry a firearm you cannot pull it out to end an dispute. You most certainly shouldn’t fire a random shot into the air. Because once that bullet leaves the barrel you are solely responsible for where it goes, what it hits, and even what it kills. Luckily no one was hurt by the old FUDD in this scenario.
Again the four cardinal rules.
- All guns are always loaded
- Never let the muzzle cover anything you are not willing to destroy – broke this one!
- Keep your finger off the trigger till your sights are on the target – broke this one!
- Identify your target, and what is behind it – and yep you guessed it he broke this one!
Its really simple. Dont be an IDIOT.
