Tactical Sweat Pants?

The answer is FUCKINAYE RIGHT!

If you carry a gun every day, you know that sometimes the clothing you want to wear; are not conducive to concealed carry.  That forces you to make a choice.  Be comfortable or be protected?  For this reason, many gun owners do not carry guns when they are wearing sweatpants, joggers, or boardshorts.  Since many gun owners also realize that a gun is only a tool and they are the weapon, they are commonly into fitness.  Nobody wants to work out in a pair of tactical pants or blue jeans.  For this reason, many fit folks that do EDC keep their gun in a bag with them at the gym or wear a gay ass fanny pack when they go for a run.

Last week a new brand called Arrowhead Tactical Apparel emerged and launched their Carrier Joggers which in turn solved this problem that concealed carriers have known for years.  They created a pair of modern jogger sweat pants that were comfortable, stylish and super EDC friendly.

On the outside they kind of remind you of Krye or Tru Spec Tactical pants where different, more stretchy or breathable material is used in the right places like knees.

They have zipper pockets on both ass cheeks with high quality zippers and pulls as well as corresponding small pockets on both hips perfect for EDC Flashlights or Knives.

The Arrowhead Logo is cool looking and located in raised rubber on the front left thigh.

You cannot call something “Tactical” without having a morale patch panel so they included a 2″x3″ hook and loop section on the outside right thigh so you can sport your favorite patch or not.  They do include an Arrowhead Tactical Apparel Morale Patch with each pair.

The real magic happens on the inner waste band.  From the outside the pants look like any other pair of Sweats or Joggers with draw strings and metal aglets.  However the inside of the waste-band has long, large soft belt loops that you feed the INCLUDED EDC belt through.  The belt loops cover much of the belt to keep the belt from touching your skin or waste, however they leave a gap 2 inch gap every 4 inches or so for the purchase of a holster clip INSIDE THE WASTEBAND so from the outside the holster clip is not even available which gives you more range of motion during physical activities that will not give away your carry location.

I have worn these pants for days.  I have carried at times for the purpose of testing TWO guns, one in appendix and one at 5 O’clock.  To make the test even more brutal the gun I carried at 5 O’Clock was a fully loaded STI Omni with 22 rounds.  During testing I ran, I sprinted, I lifted heavy weights, I laid on the couch and ate Cheetos and I drove in my car.  The pants handled the EDC just as good if not better than my 5.11 Jeans or my Tru Spec Expedition Pants.  Even gun guys were surprised that I was carrying and even more surprised at the retention and how high the gun rode off the belt in my waste.

I give these pants 4 dicks out of 5 dicks.
