A woman vacationing on the Spanish Isle of Tenerife went to the ER after falling ill complaining of vaginal pains. Upon further investigation not only did doctors discover she had an infection but there was a dead turtle inside! She was completely oblivious to the turtles presence over the period of a few days! She apparently got black out drunk and doesn’t remember anything from the night before. How you get so black out drunk you allow a turtle to be shoved inside you is anyone’s guess…
Either during insertion or removal the turtle managed to lose its head. How we dont know.
But According to KMOV4 the doctor called the police after making the shocking discovery who say the 26-year-old woman partied the night before and could not recall what took place that night.
Police suspect the woman could be a victim of sexual assault.

EL Pais writes At first, the researchers believed that it was a sea turtle, specifically a loggerhead turtle ( Caretta caretta ), which is considered a protected species and common in the waters of the Canary archipelago. Then it was discovered that it was a three-crested Chinese tortoise ( Chinemys reevesii or Mauremys reevesii) a freshwater turtle that is usually sold in pet stores. This specimen can reach 18 centimeters and its shell is blackish.
The bad news is that this turtle can probably never run for office in its foreseeable future.
