K9 Killed & 2 Officers Wounded in Ambush

5 Investigates has learned that one officer was seriously injured and was taken to Boston Medical Center, and the other officer suffered a gunshot wound to the arm and was taken to South Shore Hospital. They were both undergoing surgery, but Morrissey said their prognoses were good.

On Sunday morning, a spokesperson for Morrissey’s office said that both officers remain hospitalized and are in stable condition.

The officers’ names have not been released.
