The Gen 3 is the first focal plane with a reticle that is similar to a horse reticle. The illumination has a locking and unlocking turret. Like its brother scopes the Gen 3 has the awesome HD glass and happens to be lighter than the other Razor scopes.
When the scope is on 1 magnification power it resembles a basic red dot. But, crank it up to 10 power you have yourself the entire horse style reticle with all the sub tensions for elevation and windage.
