ST. PETERS • A man is dead after he apparently committed suicide Friday afternoon at Ultimate Defense Firing Range & Training Center, police said.
The incident, which was still being investigated by police, happened about 3:45 p.m. at the range, 590 Turner Boulevard.
The victim (if you can call him that) rented a 1911 from the rental wall and bought a box of shells. He dumped one mag, looked around and smoke checked himself.
