Spike is a veteran of the U.S. Navy having served with the Marines as an 8404 FMF Corpsman and in the Army as an Ammunition Specialist, 55 Bravo. He began writing after his time in the service as a means of relaxation and found out that he didn’t suck at it.

Years ago when I started writing, I was always told that it was a pipe dream. Being the son of a Master Chef and Published columnist, I had some pretty big shoes to fill. My Mother was a local celebrity in the Pittsburgh area, and was well known for her personable writing style when it came to her columns for the Tribune Review, Valley News Dispatch and other local papers in the area.
