Tear Down The Walls!

The government is shutdown and in a ludicrous move the establishment is closing down parks, recreation centers and yes, Memorials.
By now you all have heard of the World War II Veterans taking down the barricades and proceeding onto the grounds of THEIR memorial. First off I say Bravo Zulu to these veterans! Their act of defiance against a hair brained political scheme is only further proof as to why they are the Greatest Generation.
This act of bravery and Patriotism is spreading like wild fire! In turn, the current administration has only “upped the ante” closing down things like the Grand Canyon. (Even though Arizona offered to pay to keep it open) They are blocking roads to prevent people from scenic outlooks at Mt. Rushmore. Hell, they are having officers remove Vietnam Vet’s from the Wall in D.C.

But, this stays open…
and Camp David stays open, according to the Daily Dose via the Washington Examiner.
According to their post,
“Camp David is one of the most highly secure areas in the nation and provides the president with a safe haven. The president has been known to shoot skeet at Camp David, which he most recently used for his 52nd birthday, according to CBS White House Correspondent Mark Knoller.
Obama has spent just 78 days at the retreat, choosing instead to spend his weekends in Washington and hitting military golf courses, which are also being kept open during the government shutdown.”

With all of the closings, we are seeing time and time again veterans breaking through the barricades. I think my fellow veterans are sending the administration a message. Open Air memorials are being closed and we keep breaking through. Iwo Jima Memorial in D.C. also known as the Marine Corps Memorial was barricaded and low and behold; they broke through.

I’d like to think the message is that we are tired of our government playing schoolyard games. The Debt Ceiling needs to be voted on by October 17th assholes. Unless their plan is to default on American debt causing the dollar to crash and plunge our economy into the shitter and all out panic hits the public. Might be what they want. Might be why they bought 1.9 billion rounds of ammo for DHS and all those MRAP APC’s we have been hearing about on FaceCrack.
