Thief returns stolen wallet and car keys because he was afraid of the zombies that were pursuing him

A man in Florida, called police after his family’s home was ransacked and his father’s pants that had his wallet and car keys were stolen.

However, before police arrived, the thief came back to the home and returned the stolen items, saying that he was afraid of the “zombies trying to get him and he felt uncomfortable outside.”

According to the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office, the victim woke up at 3:00 a.m. on Thursday, to the sound of someone opening the drawers of a dresser in his Deltona home.

He when he went to investigate, he found the lights and ceiling fans in every room open. When he walked into the living room, he saw a man standing there.

When the intruder spotted the homeowner, he left. However, he soon returned with the stolen items.

The victim held him down until police arrived and the intruder, who was identified as 31-year-old Patrick Ray, was arrested.
