Springfield Armory has introduced a new concealed carry handgun chambered in .380 ACP. The new handgun is called 911. Here is how Springfield Armory describes the model name:

The 911 pistol has an aluminum frame made of hard coat anodized 7075 T6 aluminum. The front strap, mainspring housing, and the G10 grips feature the Springfield Armory’s Octo-Grip texture. Slide and barrelof the 911 pistol are made of 416 stainless steel and have a black nitride finish. The barrel length is 2.7″ and it has a 1:16 twist rate. There are two magazine options both made of stainless steel. One that fits flush with the frame has a 6-round capacity and there is an extended one with a 7-round capacity.
The overall length of the 911 pistol is 5.5″ and it weighs 12.6 oz with an empty magazine. The gun comes with a Pro-Glo tritium front and rear sights. The Hogue trigger shoe is made of G10 and the trigger pull weight is 5 lbs. Among other features are the loaded chamber indicator, ambidextrous safety selector lever, full-length guide rod and flat wire recoil spring.
