Regulating Mechanical Masturbation

So with all the threats about regulating our precious freedom spreaders and things that fire “automatic bullets”  lets take a HARD look at what the NRA is really backing.  THE NRA wants the ATF to regulate bump stocks.  Think deeply about this fact, the NRA, want the ATF, to “regulate” bump stocks.  What else is regulated?  Glad you asked, things the ATF regulates are the length of your rifle, shotgun, or AOW.  They also regulate things that make your gun not so loud, and other attachments of the sort.

Now think about this, Congress and the Government can really fuck things up, look at health care, and the education system, they even made some guns IMPOSSIBLE to get in the US.  Just imagine if we gave them the power to fuck up MORE stuff on our guns, we would all be like California…Do you wanna live in California?  We don’t.  Instead the NRA is suggesting that the ATF handles these “Bump Stocks”  because if they do chances are that they will become just another cheap tax stamp, and NOT erase them from the world completely.

This is what the NRA says

“The NRA believes that devices designed to allow semi-automatic rifles to function like fully-automatic rifles should be subject to additional regulations,”

Bump stocks can be used to effectively convert semi-automatic rifles to fire so rapidly as to simulate an automatic weapon.

The Obama administration’s ATF gave its seal of approval to selling the devices in 2010 after concluding that they did not violate federal law. On Thursday, the NRA called on the ATF to review that assessment.

“In Las Vegas, reports indicate that certain devices were used to modify the firearms involved.  Despite the fact that the Obama administration approved the sale of bump fire stocks on at least two occasions, the National Rifle Association is calling on the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (BATFE) to immediately review whether these devices comply with federal law.”

The NRA goes on to say that congress should focus on other firearm related things like the SHARE act, and CCW reciprocation between states.  So basically what the NRA is saying is let the ATF do what they are supposed to do and let congress continue to figure out other ways to cock up things that won’t directly effect what we can and cannot attach to our rifle.
