One Year Later- Chris Kyle

So we just passed the One Year Anniversary of the murder of Navy Seal Chris Kyle and his friend Chad Littlefield. I was asked to do some digging on the aftermath of the situation. I have been digging for days and have found little. There are many charities in Chris Kyle’s honor from scholarships to rodeos.
Here is what we already know, “Chief Chris Kyle (USN, honorably discharged in 2009) is one of the top snipers in the history of the American armed forces. From 1999 to 2009, he recorded the most career sniper kills in United States military history. Iraqi insurgents feared Chief Kyle so much they named him al-Shaitan (“the devil”) and placed a bounty on his head. His extensive combat experience includes sniping, close-quarters battle, reconnaissance, long-range desert patrols, personal security and the training for foreign allies. In addition to working and training with the elite Navy SEALs, Chief Kyle has also served with units from the Army, Marine Corps and other government agencies.
Chris served four combat tours in Operation Iraqi Freedom and elsewhere. For his bravery in battle, he was awarded two Silver Stars, five Bronze Stars with Valor, two Navy and Marine Corp Achievement Medals, and one Navy and Marine Corps commendation. Additionally, he received the Grateful Nation Award, given by the Jewish Institute for National Security Affairs. Following his combat deployments, he became chief instructor for training Naval Special Warfare Sniper and Counter-Sniper teams, and he authored the Naval Special Warfare Sniper Doctrine, the first Navy SEAL sniper manual.
Chief Kyle is author of The New York Times number one bestselling book “American Sniper: The Autobiography of the Most Lethal Sniper in U.S. Military History” and the New York Times bestselling “American Gun”. What about the murder? Not much has been covered by the MSM, I had to go to local media pages from Texas to find out what is going on.
“The man accused of killing famed Navy SEAL sniper Chris Kyle and his friend will go to trial in May.
Eddie Ray Routh, 26, of Lancaster, has been charged with capital murder in connection with the Feb. 2, 2013, slayings of Kyle, 38, and Chad Littlefield, 35, at a Glen Rose shooting range.
Routh’s family said he suffers from post-traumatic stress disorder and Kyle took him to the gun range as a form of therapy. Routh was an Iraq War veteran.”
Routh’s pretrial hearing is scheduled for 9 a.m. Feb 18., according to the Erath County District Clerk’s office. His trial is scheduled to start 9 a.m. May 5. The case will be heard in the 266th District Court.

The questions I want are why? I believe that PTSD is actually just a new name for Shell Shock, but the state of being and mental stress are the same. It is a real thing that I have many theories about but will get in depth with in another article. There are many conspiracy theorists that state Routh was a government plant, and that Obama had Chris and Chad assassinated. It would be easier to deal with a flight of fancy like that, rather than that Routh is another casualty of PTSD that turned on his brothers.
A part of me wants to see him hang for what he did. I won’t lie. The rest of me is Screaming at the Government for the PISS POOR CARE of my Brother and Sister Veterans that return home from war with this affliction. I am a Paramedic, I was a Corpsman. I have my sins, I have my nightmares. I see first hand what the V.A. does, or more accurately DOES’NT do for PTSD vets. Then the window licking, crayon eating, easily bribable politicians in all three branches of government cut 9 Billion from veterans benefits, pensions and budgets…then go on a Hawaiian vacation.
Chris, Chad, you are missed greatly and my heart goes out to your families.
To the V.A. and the Government, SHAME ON YOU! You take better care of Illegal Aliens, Foreign Countries and Welfare recipients than you do your own Veterans. I hope you all get Syphilis for your birthday’s.
