Officer, Bystander Shot; Suspect Killed In Dundalk Shooting

BALTIMORE (WJZ) — Authorities are investigating a fatal officer-involved shooting in Dundalk Wednesday afternoon.

The incident began just after 2:45 p.m., when police got a call about an armed robbery in the 6800 block of Dundalk Ave.

Responding officers were told that one suspect was engaged with two suspects on the street, but the suspect later got on an MTA bus.

Police say the armed suspect opened fire on officers, who then returned fire.

The suspect was shot, and later died from his injuries.

A female Baltimore County Police Department officer was shot in the leg, and was taken to a hospital.

A bystander was also shot. Their condition is unknown at this time.

The investigation into this shooting is continuing.
