Our First Amendment rights are in jeopardy. Yes Donald Trump has attacked most of our American rights but one of the most important is our right to free speech and freedom of the press. Without freedom to criticize our government, how can we protect ourselves? He has already vowed to continue his attack on the press. We have to stop this frightening development.

Your “freedoms” were being infringed, I would think that you would be on more posters as a POI and enemy of the state. Which you aren’t. The purpose of this group is peaceful discourse and intelligent activism. Yes we need to heal from the shock of Trump’s election. But we have to act immediately to protect our rights, protect our children, and protect our vulnerable citizens.

I started this group because I had to do something, but I know very little about political activism. What I do know is that I am motivated and so are others. In this crisis is an opportunity. Maybe it had to happen to awaken us to create a new way to bring our people together.
No….no…You started this group because you are hoping on a bandwagon and are trying to sooth your triggered soul. There are some things you should think about before you start a group about “political activism”. IF YOU HAVE NO CLUE WHAT YOU ARE DOING, perhaps you should align yourself with people that do. There is a right way and a wrong way to do things, I’m pretty sure you are doing shit the wrong way. Look at it this way, I have no idea how to handle radioactive material, SO I DON’T FUCKING DO IT. Instead I let other people, scientists, truck drivers, and people that know how to do it handle it for me.
There are other existing Democratic organizations that are taking serious, concerted action to stop Trump. We can certainly join them. But it is also amazing what small groups meeting locally can do. Let’s meet to discuss what we can do as a small group of terrified but determined Americans.
Yes, they are using their freedom of speech, and votes to make their thoughts known, though they aren’t the majority, I’m sure they will be herd. Listen I’m all about standing up, but there are ways to go about it, but talking in vague terms, and bullshit claims is not a foundation to build on. Thanks for opening my eyes though to know there are really people out there that are bat shit crazy, and now i know that these people have groups, AND THAT is truly the SCARIEST SHIT i have seen all day.
