Liberal Reporter Claims PTSD after Firing AR15

“It feels like a bazooka — and sounds like a cannon.”, “But mostly, I was just terrified.”

“The recoil bruised my shoulder. The brass shell casings disoriented me as they flew past my face. The smell of sulfur and destruction made me sick. The explosions — loud like a bomb — gave me a temporary case of PTSD.”

“Forty nine people can be gone in 60 seconds.”- Kuntzman writes

Lets start from the bottom and work are way to the top.

  1. 49 people shot in 60 seconds: Most Commercial ar15s have 30 round mags, so you are saying that an untrained shooter could single handily make 1 mag dump hit 30 people once, inflicting a killing shot, and then swap mags to finish off 19 more?  Now I understand that we could be getting those numbers from maybe over penetration (thats 1 round for multiple people).  I just think these numbers might be a little bit exaggerated.

Standard Ar15 set up, note 30rd magazine.
  2. The recoil bruised my shoulder. The brass shell casings disoriented me as they flew past my face. The smell of sulfur and destruction made me sick. The explosions — loud like a bomb — gave me a temporary case of PTSD.:  The recoil bruised my shoulder, the felt recoil of an ar15 loaded with a 5.56 55gr generates around 4.75 ft.lbs of force, or 6.44 Joules (J).  Alternatively a normal 12ga shot gun generates about 22 ft. lbs or 30J.  My 90 year old grandpa was duck hunting up to the last year of his life, using a 12ga, and NEVER did he complain about any type of recoil, nor bruising. Sir you clearly have some type of medical condition, perhaps Hemophilia that needs to be addressed.  In speaking towards your disorientation from shell casings.  It could be one of the warning signs of MS (Multiple Sclerosis).  This is sometimes a symptom.  PTSD, as defined by Psycology Today is, “Usually consisting of flashbacks of the traumatic event, avoidance of reminders of the event (such as avoiding conversations about it), detachment or withdrawal from their surroundings, and some somatic complaints. Other symptoms, such as insomnia, hypervigilance (being on alert constantly), and increased fears, can accompany the disorder.” You were “anxious and irritable”, not uncommon but highly unlikely that you had actual PTSD.
  3. It felt like a Bazooka, and was loud like a cannon, I was terrified:  Yes loud noises are scary I
    This, is a Bazooka.

agree.  Unfortunately the process for putting a suppressor on these “loud scary things” is quite a daunting task, thanks to people like you.  Here’s a fun fact, in New Zealand where supressors or “gun mufflers” are actually encouraged, you are  looked at like a jerk if you DON’T have one.  “it felt like a Bazooka”, I don’t think you know what a Bazooka is sir. Let me help you, click HERE.  If you are to lazy for that then let me help you.  A Bazooka is defined as  the common name for a man-portable recoil-less antitank rocket launcher weapon, widely fielded by the United States Army.  Notice how I highlighted RECOIL-LESS, that means NO RECOIL, and as above mentioned the ar15 has a felt recoil of 4.75 ft.lbs.  Also a Bazooka is generally TUBE shaped, think of it like a rocket launching paper towel tube shaped item.  So honestly an ar15 is NOTHING like a Bazooka

Unfortunately Stelmach, the owner of the shop who quote “never sells a gun to someone who “looks a little bit funny,””  needs to change his motto to  “Never let someone handle a gun that “Is a little bit funny””.
