‘I shot UBL and I have to pay for private healthcare’

Daily mail reports

The Navy SEAL who shot Osama Bin Laden lashed out at the White House’s Sarah Huckabee Sanders for praising the VA on Wednesday.

In a flurry of tweets, Robert O’Neill slammed Veteran Affairs, revealing that he has to pay for his own private healthcare despite his role in one of the most prolific missions in the history of the US Armed Forces.

He also claimed to have had his wallet stolen at a VA hospital during a CAT scan once.

O’Neill has been able to forge a living out of selling the story of his role in the 2011, Team Six mission which finally executed the Al Qaeda leader at his secretive Pakistan compound.

The Operator, O’Neill’s book on the subject, has had international success and he regularly appears on television and radio shows.

While he can afford to pay for his own care, he said on Wednesday that other veterans weren’t as fortunate and had to rely on the VA which he labeled an ‘insult’ to their service.

‘I just heard Sarah Huckabee talk about “successes” at the VA. PLEASE explain and I would LOVE to debate you. VA is a damn insult to vets!!

‘I’m a combat vet… killed UBL.. and I PAY FOR PRIVATE healthcare ..most vets CANT afford it!’ he wrote angrily.

His rage was sparked by Huckabee’s complaint a day earlier that the media never covers positive stories like ‘the success at the VA’ because it is fixated on the president and whether or not he has inappropriate ties to Russia.

She did not give any further detail about the ‘success’ she was referring to. O’Neill found it hard to conceive of any and took his rage out on the deputy White House press secretary.

‘Insulted by Sarah Huckabee for praising the VA today. I bet you’ve never had your wallet stolen by STAFF while getting a CAT scan.I have!’ he said.

Representatives for Veteran Affairs did not respond to requests about his theft claim on Wednesday night.

O’Neill’s continued his Twitter rampage, lashing out at Huckabee who he claimed was ‘unqualified’ and had only been given her job because of her politician father.

He later retracted those comments, admitting he had been ‘too hard’ on her.
