A few Days ago Ryker USA released the FIST Grip, and one could say it caused a shit storm of triggered keyboard commandos and /k/ warriors across the Internets. While they are comparing it to HOLDING A POTATO on your AR, or even likening it to the tacticool additions like the TAC SAC.

Scott Wolf Ryker USA INC you might want to check with your lawyer/patent attorney on this. This concept was done back in 2014 by Funker Tactical as seen in this video. It too, met with the same kind of response as you’re seeing across the internet, which is negative. What little benefit this device provides when shooting and moving laterally,can be achieved by a reverse C grip on the hand guard or by simply attaching a broom stick or a 1/2 broom stick on the rail at 90 degrees and for a whole lot less $$. Part of your problem too, IMO, is the over the top hype/BS that has been given to promoting this item. You cannot polish a turd or pick it up from the clean end.

It’s too long a discussion for a comment forum, but we’d be happy to go more in depth if you want to DM us. While their hand position is reminiscent of ours theirs doesn’t direct the recoil impact into the hand and upper arms like ours does. The same holds true for putting a VFG on the side of the rail. IMHO we achieved what both he and the folks using the C-Clamp have been trying to achieve. We realize it’s different, but we really hope you’ll give it a fair shake before you discount it outright.
