2 DEAD BODIES IN 2 DAYS FOUND FLOATING IN CENTRAL PARK PONDS

NEW YORK, NY — Two decomposing bodies have been discovered in Manhattan’s Central Park in less than a 24 hour period.

Police found a body of a man wearing pants and shoes but no shirt in a pond near 59th Street and Fifth Avenue around 7:30 A.M. Wednesday, according to CBS New York.

This was a day after a maintenance worker discovered a decomposed body in Central Park’s Jaqueline Kennedy Onassis Reservoir near East 87th Street at around 12:40 P.M. on Tuesday.

I saw something out there earlier today that looked like a potato sack floating. Couldn’t tell if it was a human, it looked like litter to me,” a witness told the New York Post.

Police said their investigation is ongoing and that the medical examiner would determine the cause of death. Neither body showed signs of trauma, and police don’t suspect criminality is involved in either death, NYPD chief of detectives Robert Boyce said Wednesday.
